Hello,

I would like to build a pond to install in the enlosure to put some small fish or tadpoles in for it's night hunting. The current idea is to use a foam filler, cut a mould from there and cover in fibreglass, so as to keep it light weight. Also, while drying, I'd like to cover the whole pond with sand to make it seem more natural.
My question is, is fibreglass a good material to use for this purpose? The snake will be feeding and drinking from this pond, so I don't want any negative impact on the snake or the fish/tadpoles inhabiting the pond. Can any chemicals from the fibreglass contaminate the water? Also, if there are any other ideas on building the pond, taking into account that I'd like to keep it as light as possible,

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
