Not sure of what reptiles you intend to keep in plastic enclosures that require much airflow..

My comment is that although the cages are quite pricey when one includes shipping costs, they will last forever and ever. Really tough cages. The recessed area for a heat pad is a nice feature. The cages look very attractive in person, too. Doors are not flimsy at all. All in all a very solid cage.

You can always drill holes and bolt-on mesh for more ventilation, but I am not sure that more is ever needed unless keeping torts or chameleons. But then, if keeping torts or chameleons, this is probably not the caging route you want to go with.
