I just got a male from a Cleveland dealer who works with DM Exotics, the likely supplier. This specimen was imported from Java, very likely from the suburbs of Jakarta itself.

At home in his 75-gallon, naturalistic terrarium, the snake is doing very well, slowly learning my predictable behavior and to trust me more. I'm pleased with the success so far, especially for a wild-caught specimen.

Currently, there is very little information about these on the Internet. Even the Ratsnakes book from 1997 has little about them.

If anyone else keeps these, please share your insights.
