In the summer we re-homed a family friend’s milksnake, about 8years old. Up until now she’s eaten regularly and is a very chilled snake. She was due to eat 2 weeks ago and didn’t, she then shed a couple of days later but since shows no interest in eating.

I’m aware snakes may not eat if unhappy but we’re lost as to what’s changed.

Also read on another forum a suggestion that she could be ready to hibernate, is this possible? She still seems as active as before when we handle her.

Thank you for any help in advance,

K
