Silicone smell in bioactive tank

About 6 weeks ago i built a custom background for my crested geckos new bioactive tank. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for getting the silicone smell out. I have not put my gecko in the tank yet. Again its been about 4 to 6 weeks of letting it air out.
