Need help identifying froglets.

Hey, y'all.



I rescued some tadpoles from a mud puddle in a shared driveway with no prejudice to what species they might be at the time. I have lived in this area for 2 years, and have rarely seen any frogs or toads during that time. This place is lousy with lizards- I'm not complaining about that part, mind you. So I collected about 2 or 3 dozen tadpoles, then started doing some research to try to figure out what species they are and how to care for them before releasing them. Well, now I have a dilemma. If they are what I think they are, then they are an invasive species and are supposed to be euthanized. That's not in me to do. But if I let them go, then they will further diminish the native population of frogs that are here. Take a look at the pics. These kids are about ready to leap off.
