It is most likely an American toad but there are some things that are off. Some of the spots have more than 2 warts (3-4) and the belly is a bit spotted. I know Fowler's toads are very similar in appearance to American toads but I also know that New York is more north out of their range. There has been one Fowler's toad siting in New York on the New York herp atlas so I was wondering what other's thought of this guy being a Fowler's toad away from it's range? Or just a weird American toad. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
