Looking for long-term outcomes of venom

I'm researching the specific effects of venom duct ligation (tubal ligation) on snakes, not full gland removal. I'm trying to find any documented cases or personal experiences regarding the long-term outcomes of this procedure.



Specifically, I'm looking for information on:

1. Snakes that had only duct ligation (with glands left intact)

2. What happened to these snakes over time (months to years)

3. Any cases of regeneration where venom flow returned

4. Health problems specifically linked to ligation (not removal)



I've read EdK's 2006 post about the risk of tying off the trigonal nerve by mistake, and the FAQ mentioning ligation is a "less effective technique." But I'm hoping to find actual follow-up cases from keepers who had this done.



Did the snakes thrive? Did they develop digestive issues? Did any later prove to be venomous again?



Any links, personal stories, or vet records would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
