Sometime today, my newest addition, an albino nelson's milk snake, squirmed his way out of his tank through this insanely tiny little gap on the corner of the screen lid. I've read almost all the other "lost snake" posts on this forum, but I'm desperate for info since not only is there 13 inches of baby snake somewhere in my apartment(that works out to about $12 an inch), but also because he's a baby and I'm a bit inexperienced with the feeding requirements of baby colubrids. I know what and how often I'm supposed to feed him, but I'm concerned about not finding him in time. Could anyone give me an approximate window of time? I'm freaking out here! I've tossed about everything in my room (which is, incidentally, the warmest part of the apartment, so I'm not sure he would have wandered too far), but with no luck. If anyone has anything to offer, or stories of "hope" to share, I'd be very appreciative!!

Thanks!

HMS
