I recently bought a jeweled curlytail form a pet shop. A few hours ago, it excaped for its ten gallon tank. I have searched the entire upper level of my home, but I can't find the lizard. I have been focusing on looking under furniture and checking areas close to heaters, under bed spreads and blankets, etc. Unfortunatly, the animal is nowhere to be found. It could not have gotten down the steps in my house without someone noticing.

The only place I can think of is that the animal crawled into a hole in my wall, which means it most likely is now to cold to move (the temp outside is only 45 F). There was an opening in the wall in my room used to access the water pipes for my bathtub, and the lizards could have squeezed into, but the size of crack it would have to have entered makes me feel it is not in my walls. Besides, it was so chilly in there, I can't see cold blooded animal being stupid enough to crawl into it.
