This is just amazing so I felt I should post this story.
About two months ago my daughter who is two years old figured out how to open door handles and got into my snake room. where she had opened a cage to one of my snow corns. I searched the house and the room relentlessly for 3 days (including the crawlspace which has an entrance right next door to my snake room) But to no avail. I figured he was gone and there was little chance I would find him again. But just tonight I was posting pics of my Great Basin Gophers and decided to go out and have a cigarette when I noticed a snake trying to get into my garage that is about 30 ft from my house and is where I raise my mice and behold it was my snow corn with a full belly that looks like it just fed on a garter snake (I am assuming garter snake because it defenatly looks like a snake inside it and they are quite abbundant in my backyard) recently. I'm excited. Since the incident I have put a lock on my snake room door with the key hanging way out of reach of the two year old.
