I have my male and female together, and they are both adults that I got as babies and raised. It is a bit dangerous at feeding time, since she's the bigger frog and does try to eat everything, not giving him a chance to eat. I always have to go out of my way to make sure he gets his share!
She has never eaten him, but sometimes accidental nips can happen while feeding. I try to distract her first with a large chunk of tubifex, and then give him his food at the other end of the tank. With a tank that's at least 20 gallon(long size), this is no problem, but when I had them crammed into a 10g tank they were constantly biting one another.
Now they mate constantly (see my pic I posted) so I am seriously considering seperating them, but might not.
