As a birthday gift to my 8 yr old son and as a rescue situation, a friend of ours gave us this turtle. Unfortunatley when I had agreed to take on the responsibility of the turtle I asummed it was going to be a regular old slider.I have found out the hard way that this animal is not the easiest to take care of. When I recieved it I was told by the pet associate that mine was in an entirely wrong set up.We've had it for about 3 months and it already has gone through 4 pumps and about 3-4 lites. It's a very picky eater.Only wanting to eat Meal worms and guppies. NO PELLETS FOR THIS PRETTY PRINCESS. Which has me concerned!! As I said I've been learning as I have gone and talked to other owners. In conclusion my question is what should I do about her not eating the pellets and is it that necessary? Thanks
