I've read more 'don't mist' than 'mist' so I went that way with mine. I do keep a humid hide box on the warm side of the tank. It has peat moss in it that I keep moist. Reason for this is to help with shedding. Some AFTs seem to prefer taking their drink by lapping up drops of water from plants and such, but some will drink from a water dish. This would probably be the only reason to mist them. Good luck with yours.
