Hi

Check all the warm, dark places first. Depending on how big a snake you have, and how big a crack under the door you have.....yes it's possible. My 10 year old ball used to be able to flatten himself out like nothing I'd ever seen, and he was usually a pretty fat bastard. Start close to his home first though. Most snakes will stop at the first warm spot they find to curl up and hide in, or they'll return near home. I often found him under his tank between the floor and the heatpad (the tank was raised on 1/2 in. blocks I think).

Good luck.

PS Don't wake up any snake-phobic housemates just yet
