Check the fertility. Shine a light in the eggs and if they’re a reddish pink color with veins they’re fertile. If the color is bright yellow they’re infertile. If an egg collapses it’s usually because their infertile or the humidity is low. Don’t keep them too wet though as fat tail eggs don’t tolerate a lot of moisture very well. I keep my eggs in perlite with a .7:1 (water to perlite) ratio. Hope that helps and good luck!
