I recently went to the Manchester, NH reptile show and couldn't pass up a pair of sudan plated lizards for $35.00. I read only a little about the plated's so far and I know I have a female and male. No one seemed to know about the age of the lizards since I bought them just after the vendors completed his trade for them.

After checking them out at home we noticed small cuts or bite's. These were treated and only once I noticed them nipping at each other.

Could I assume this may be part of the courting process?

They seem very active and we let them play daily in a 4 X 4 play area we made for our big lizards.

IF they are in a breeding process should their diet be different?

They are voracious eaters and love pinkies and lots of crickets, we also offer a variety of fruits and veggies.

Crickets are dusted with calcium with D3 and phosporous free, reptivite vitamins, sometimes a little brewers yeast and bone meal.
