I haven't seen any mud turtles yet, even in the areas where I normally find them. Who can tell me what their breeding season is? I've read March, April or May, in different sources. It seems like it's still a little cool (3500 - feet elevations), but do they wait until it is warm? Or is it day length? Insights appreciated.
