Posted by: manakawari at Mon Jun 27 20:48:54 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by manakawari ] its is obvious to anyone who keeps venomoids that even after the snakes are devenomized,their intact fangs still pose quite a threat .this is very true when it comes to large vipers.i am an exotic vet and i have come up with a solution.i have discovered a way to remove the snakes entire head as long as i leave a small piece of the brainstem intact,the animal can still have a heartbeat and breath.all you need to do is force feed the snake by stuffing prekilled prey down its neck.i think this will satisfy almost anyones concern about these animals regenerating their venom and it also should satify any animal rights people who claim the snake is in pain from the surgery.without a brain,it is not possible to experience pain or experience anything unpleasant for that matter.
