Nice pictures and an excellent survey. I used to see spinys alot in at a lake in Center Alabamba now I am lucky if I see one. I don't know if the lake has become too polluted or they have migrated out of it and into the river systems. I would love to research this if I ever get enough time off from work.
Soft shells are my favorite turtle period. I have a small spiney.
