From the description of the eyes, I do not think that it is amelanistic. Amelanistics have lost all the melanin in the eyes as well as the skin, leaving the pupils a bright pink, even in fairly low light. Leucistics have only lost some of the melanin in the retinas and irises, so the pupils are black to reddish black and the irises are some shade of gray.
