congrats on him eating just remember to change that sand very very bad substate most of us use sani chips or shavings of some sort if he gets sand in his mouth or nose your asking for a million problems snakes will shed 3 to 5 times per year the younger they r the more they shed hope this helps ray in san diego show us a pic i breed san diego local would love to see him latter
