Again, a guess from the top of my grey matter... the shell pattern makes me think some species of wood turtle... but the color seems all wrong for the central american ones i had the the store, or the species native to the north east here. How about a peek at the side profile?

2 dogs (G. Shepherd/elhhound/wolf-hybrid mix and an american Staffie)
3 cats
1 map turtle
1 spiny softshell turtle (baby)
1 Green iguana
1 savannah monitor
1 red-tailed boa
1 Pueblan apricot milksnake
1 50/50 cali kingsnake
2 adult emperor scorpions (w/ 14 babies)
1 mud skipper
1 albino dwarf hamster
salt tank with a "freshwater" snowflake eel, puffers, and a foxface (plus some inverts)
fresh tank with oscars, a clown knife, a really mean gourami, & spiny eel (among others)
fiance` and a baby on the way
