You will get animals that will eventually show more or less of the Aussie trait. they wont be Hets or anything like that. Crosses are common when people say they have pure aussies. Unfortunately there are only a few pure animals. I would say 90% of these can be traced back to the original person who brought them in. Dont get me wrong, they are out there, more than we all think. People just have them and stay low profile.

Anyways white cheeks is not the only trait to look for. Reticulations/color in the pattern are also important. Just be honest wiht people if you cross the animals. hope this helps
