This is Alpha,

he is my African Fat-Tail. He is a little of a troublemaker, as he tends to play a little game we call "Horsey" where he gets on the one spot on my back that I can't reach.

He lives in a 20-gallon aquarium with a heating pad, red heating lamp, two LEGO houses (one on the warm side {with 2 connected rooms} and one on the cool side.) , the lid of a glass jar (for water) , with the air temp being around 80 in the day and night. In the day, the pad is on, but the lamp is off. At night, the lamp and pad are on. I keep 3 crickets in his cage for him to hunt at his leisure, and he eats them the day I put them in. I do dust them with calcium.

He is 8 inches, and weighs 1.8 oz. He is a little shy, however.

And now to the point, AM I TAKING GOOD CARE OF HIM?
