***on wood/loose substrates just be sure your snake doesn't ingest the substrate.***

what i DON'T recommend is CEDAR or WOOD CHIPS,

*Cedar is poisonous to snakes

*Wood chips hold more bacteria than you can imagine (after they have be soiled a few times)
