Hi,

We had a juvenile corn escape two days ago; still no sign of him. The room he escaped in was closed, but would have been very easy to get out of. We now have flour across the doorway, and have searched the room and the closet with no luck.

He's only about 16 inches long, and has been feeding on pinkies. Would he be attracted to the scent of larger mice as well as his normal diet? Also, should I keep the house very cool and leave a heat pad/lamp on in that room, or should I keep the house warm in hopes that he'll be more active?

I sick to my stomach. We have 5 cats and a dog inside, all of which were inside the night he got out. The dog pretty much sleeps through the night in our room, so I am hoping she wasn't an issue, but the cats are active all night. That said, I wouldn't think they'd actually EAT the snake, just kill it and leave it in my shoe. The worse part is that we live in a trailer, so there's plenty of places for him to have squeezed into the wall, not to mention heating vents in the floor....

Any help would be very much appreciated.
