The Mid-Atlantic Turtle & Tortoise Society will have an adoption table at the Baltimore Golden Ring Petco, 11AM - 3PM, Sunday, December 18th. If you're in the area, please stop by and say hello, and meet one of the turtles up for adoption.



Petco is very interested in having adoption tables for other rescues as well, especially small animals - reptiles, rodents, rabbits, birds, ferrets, ect. If you think your group would be interested in having a table at a Petco store, please give a store manager a call - even if you can only do one day a month or every other month. Their website is www.petco.com, and there's a list of stores in each state and the phone numbers. Petco has a "Think Adoption First" policy, so if you have adoptable reptiles in the vacinity of a Petco, consider contacting them to make them aware of available animals, so that they can make potential buyers aware of adoptable animals in the area before they sell an animal.
