Though El Arco is an actual locality in Baja Sur, there have not been any Rosys collected there. It was once proposed by David Spiteri that this area is a natural occurring intergrade zone of myriolepis and trivirgata, but nobody knows for sure YET. The link below the Rosy pic is to a general map of Baja illustrating where El Arco is (which could be a intergrade zone), but I think the Rosys there are triv triv. Again just my opinion. The El Arco thing was a goof that Randy Limburg started when selling his naturally occurring dark Bay of LA animals. The original animals (which he still has) came from the outcroppings along the road down the grade just before the town of Bay of LA. Basically the furthest east location of the Bay of LA road. I will post a pic of one of the babies from those original animals to illustrate how dark they are. One of the babies Randy kept looks like a triv triv. Actually it looks anery, but we won't know that till he breeds it true. Something else to look forward to I guess.

Enjoy, Jerry Hartley
