Hi,

I haven't paid much attention to this trait until recently and was wondering if anyone had done any research on it. Near as I can tell this appears to be a pattern mutation which follows simple autosomal complete dominance. Is this true? Is it in fact a pattern trait, or would you call it color trait. If it is a color trait, anyone know what the mechanics are behind it?
