well for one.. i would try feeding him from a dish... i put super worms in a slick metal dish ... like a small dog water dish... that would stop him from eating the substrate... and as for the shed... how many times a day do you mist them... 3 is minimum.. you should have a humidity gauge in your tank and the humidity should not drop below 40% keep it around 60-80 if possible.. i have 2 tokays 1.1
