Maybe she was just in shock last night, and will be fine as you say , if left quiet for awhile.
It's always a horrible feeling when we accidently do something that harms a little creature.

I put down the lid one night after feeding my three henks, and woke in the morning to find one of my males tails under the lid when I opened it.

Apparently the tip of his tail had been hanging over the edge at the top, when I closed it the night before, and he had to drop it to get free.

I felt that same HORROR also. His beautiful tail off because I was not more careful/ or aware the tip was there.

He has since grown back a lovely tail, but I will never forget that, I always CHECK NOW !

Hope she continues to do okay, let us know!
