I obtained a couple CB blue spinies. Trouble is, they don't look like the standard field guide blue spiny, and the WC stock they come from is much smaller than the typical blue.
These are about 2 years old, and run 6-7 inches. The colors are a little off due to me being color blind and having some trouble balancing the light sources. The image of the female was shot through glass so it is a little flat. The male has pale blue areas underneath.

I found a book on swifts and spiny lizards as pets, and it has an image that looks a lot like these guys and labels it as a possible Mexican subspecies.
So, can anyone help me clarify what I have here?
I've only had them a day and a half, but they are settling in and basking, eating, head-bobbing, etc.
Maybe later I'll post a photo of the setup.
But first, tell me what I have!!
