Yes, eyes are a little watery in the AM but that's not a real concern. His nose is a little runny. Appetite is fine though. I have baytril but am not sure if I want to risk screwing up his appetite. Also, I let him soak every day but other than that his enclosure is dry. Could that be causing runny nose syndrom? I have tried cypress mulch but it always seems to have gnats that hatch in it from the moisture & it gets kind of moldy looking. Am I buying the wrong type maybe? I know I must sound stupid but I never had a tortoise that required this kind of environment before.
