I dont' have Egyptians, but I know that the Egyptian experts will start off by asking you how you are keeping your tort.

Size and type of enclosure? Substrate? Temps? Day/night cycle? UV lighting? Hot spot?

Food? I know that any type of tort will need more than romaine. Are you using canned tortoise foods?

Supplements? Do you use any type of calcium with D3 and/or multivitamin supplements.

Do you soak him, and provide a slightly humid hide area?

Fill us in on those details and the experts will be able to better help you.
