Matt, this season has not been the best...I did produce those 12 babies of which 4 were hypos...And a female that I had that bred last year ...I knew she had slugs in her yet...rather than surgery...I decided to breed her again...it worked as I had planned, but 2 babies born twisted, that died shortly after due to a whole lot of slugs inside her....at least now she is cleaned out and she is putting some weight on...
A female I have.... that also bred last year...and produced 18 perfect babies and no slugs....had her post ovulation shed on Sept. 18th 2005...she shed again on Nov. 10th, but although she looks huge and gravid, she has not had anything...I am thinking it is not good, but you never know...
She looks perfectly healthy...so I believe she will be fine.
All in all this has been a learning curve for me...without alot of solid info out there...alot of breeding can be hit and miss...I think I am paying attention, so next season should be better. Hope yours is going well. Andy
