Posted by: lepinsky at Fri Mar 10 03:25:33 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lepinsky ] I know you guys are mostly in the USA, and I'm in the UK, but here there are two plants that are called 'marigold': one is the Calendula or pot marigold (usually big with orange or yellow flowers), and they are safe for torts; but the other one, which is often called African Marigold, is shorter with orange, yellow, and rust colored flowers, is Tagetes, and that is toxic. The two plants have totally different leaves. If you google calendula and tagetes you can see good pictures of them to identify which to buy/grow. | ||
