Talk to your vet about treating it with Flagyl. This is a pattern I've seen too many times with my own animals.

Now, Flagyl is a great antiprotozoal. It is a great gram negative antibiotic (most nasty bacteria) and it is very safe among tortoises.

Talk to your vet about this. It takes a long time too.

The other thing I just noticed... 20 lb and 6 years? can you post a photo? That is seriously extreme even by my standards.

I'm not saying it's bad but it is extreme.
