I want to "spruce up" my older russians shells they look so dull and dry but I know there isnt alot of things safe to use. they were so neglected when I got them I'd like to pamper them. I used to use vegetable oil on them(before I stared reading about torts and things good for them) thinking that it was all natural and wouldnt hurt them if they ate it and it worked great -then I read that putting anything on the shell could hurt them does anyone know of a shell"rub" that would work but is safe?I have seen pics of torts with "glowing" shells on here I'd like my torts to look as nice :0) thanks !
