>>i dont see to many posts on the boards about childrens hatching and was wondering when the average time frame they start hatching. i am looking into getting a pair this year but i dont know when the majority of people start to get hatchlings or even eggs for that matter.

Well, my latest hatched on the 4th....exactly a year since the last clutch. Incubator malfunction brought the clutch of 15 down to 6. But since I have 4 left from last years clutch of a dozen I am not in a huge hurry for more mouths to feed. (yes, that is me trying to not be disappointed)
I had a time finding a pair and then lucked out. Now I have Mom, Dad and two daughters I've kept.
I don't think they are as popular for some reason. Not as flashy? I don't know but I love mine. But I know locally they are difficult to place. ----- Sonya
I'm not mean. You're just a sissy.
