Hey all,

I went to change the water and feed my hatchling spotted python (maybe 10 mos old or so) today and he had unfortunately passed on.

I've been out of town for a couple days, but he was active and seemed fine before I left. He has some bloating from liquid near his cloaca, but it didn't seem constipated or anything like that, only liquid.

Like I said he was active and seemed perfectly fine then within a couple of days had died. I don't understand what the problem was. He also had been feeding fine every 7-10 days. There was a small greenish spot midway along his body in his intestine.

Any ideas as to what may have caused his death? Also does it sound contagious? I'll keep an extra close eye on everybody else regardless.
