My stimpson's went crazy

Hi everyone,



I have a male stimpson’s python. I've had him for about 8 months and last night I fed him like I usually do exempt this time I had the hardest time trying to get him back into his cage again after he was finished. He coiled around a chair, kept on darting his head out of his cage and just kept on snapping at me like crazy! It took me about ten minuets and many many near misses before I could get him back in. I have never had this problem with him before. I was just wondering what happened and if anyone has ever had this happened to them?
