As we see more and more of these stories, more and more States out-law the ownership of large snakes. Most States regulate the ownership of snakes now and many are making revisions to ban the ownership of many that we keep. Leting pet snakes go into non native wilds will heart us all. Leting native pet snakes go back into the wild could introduce Disease into wild populations that are already stressed for food and living space. Any way you look at it it is a bad practice!
