You're probably right about what's best for the cause- that whole thing is just a knee-jerk reaction to an infuriating situation.



The problem I have is that he's had the animal since it was a baby, and because of some stupid law (probably written back in the dark ages) was invoked because of some meddling neighbor who has some irrational fear of snakes.



I mean, what is he supposed to do when the animal reaches a certain weight in the county- stop feeding it??? C'mon now...
