Irian Jayas seem to have the best temperament and are the smallest of the carpets, centralians are cool if they have a lot of red and good contrast but are expensive, jungles can be feisty and it’s a gamble if you are going to get a real yellow one that doesn’t turn muddy on ya (pay extra for a reputable breeder). I have an IJ and a JCP and I love them bolt. One bit of advice I can’t stress enough, FEED HIM RATS! NOT MICE! They get hooked on mice and most of the time you cant convert them to rats. Imagine trying to feed your adult carpet 5 to seen mice a feeding, it sucks. Put in the extra effort and find some pinky and fuzzy rats.Go to the Morelia forum for info on carpetes.
