If you don't want to poison your snakes I commend you but, Reptile Relief is a LOT of work. Yes it is non-toxic but you have to clean all your cages and everything in them every 3 days for a month or longer. If you're up for that by all means use it.

I recommend Provent-A-Mite though. You do it and it's done because it keeps killing mites in the cage. It is non-harmful to snake when used as directed too, but like you said it is still not non-toxic like reptile relief, which kills mites by drying them out.
