Also I believe rodent burrows and old abandoned ranch buildings supply the need for habitat, food source and a way to cut dehydration. I look to the stock tanks and drainage ditches as well as semi permanent (man made) water sources and creeks the further north and west I go. I especially like railroad tracks for the buildup of boulders and semi permanent water, most have year round water at bridges. | ||
