The blotchless Ratsnake morph is a cultivated mutant and should not be confused with the natural striped pattern in adult Pantherophis alleghaniensis. It looks very different and, most of all, it also affects the juvenile pattern. The pattern looks similar to the striped Pantherophis guttatus. It is not the latest morph, in fact it goes back much further than the striped Cornsnake. Since the trait has showed in Black, Greenish, Yellow, Everglades and Grey Ratsnakes, I guess it's safe to say that most (if not all) blotchless Ratsnakes available these days in all likelyhood are indeed intergrades (crossbreeds, actually).
