Posted by: dragonTaTu at Thu Oct 19 21:56:22 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by dragonTaTu ] I posted in main python page and was told to refer to this forum. So, my question is simple. I would like to know what the temperment is like with carpets. Can they be handled, are they known to bite, etc.? I have young children, this is why I ask. Also, I have a 50 gal aquarium that is currently vacant, previously housed a ball python. R.I.P. Blade. Is this aquarium large enough for a carpet python? Also, (I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I would rather be persistently informed than pleasantly ignorant) what type of lid should I use to prevent a carpet from escaping? I had used a simple screen lid with clips and four large rocks on each corner. Would a carpet python be strong enough to still remove this setup, or should I try something else. Any suggestions would be helpful. [ Hide Replies ]
