Greetings Bert.
Congrats on the lati, why don't u post it?
They yellow/orange band markings disappear as they mature into adulthood. And the colors fade too into a pure red body with black stripes, but could be because because they're exposed to elements in the wild. Perhaps in captivity, the colors can remain vivid. Just my theory, as i've not kept a lati from neonate to adult longer than a year and half yet.
